Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between Core and Buffer zones?
Core zones lie deep within the main forest with strict conservation protocols and high tiger sightings. Buffer zones form peripheral woodland areas where wildlife roams freely, remaining accessible year-round.
How many guests can fit into a single safari Gypsy?
A maximum of 6 adults and up to 2 children (under 12 years) are permitted per open safari Gypsy vehicle, accompanied by an authorized forest guide and licensed driver.
When should I book my Pench National Park safari?
Official forest permits open up to 120 days in advance. Because vehicle numbers per gate are strictly capped by forest authorities, early reservation is highly recommended.
What identification documents are required for entry?
Government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar card, passport, driving license, or voter ID) is mandatory for all adult participants during permit booking and gate entry verification.
